Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Movie Review: is an incredible spectacle to watch, thanks to its well-animated visuals and thrilling battles. However, the narrative is too long, with too many flashbacks that fail to sustain engagement throughout.
The film is 155 minutes, which is nearly the length of viewing five episodes of the anime one after the other. Director Haruo Sotozaki attempts to intertwine several story lines into a single movie. Although the move looks fantastic, the repetition of flashbacks and explanations slows down the story and makes it laughable.
The fight between Zenitsu and Kaigaku is one of the best parts of the movie. Zenitsu’s revenge story is exciting, and the battle feels real and thrilling. The animation and direction are excellent, keeping the audience completely hooked.
Tanjiro has much to deal with: becoming the best Hashira, rescuing his sister who became a demon, avenging his family, and discovering the history of his father. His battles against Akaza and other demons are exciting, but the story is slowed down by excessively numerous flashbacks and descriptions.
The film is a visual delight. Action sequences, sword fights, and special powers are spectacular. The battles of Zenitsu, Tanjiro, and Giyu are particularly stunning. The music is also in sync with the action and contributes to the epic.
