Bigg Boss 19 is provoking controversy again, and three of the female participants, Tanya Mittal, Neelam Giri, and Malti Chahar, have shed light on the victim card because of this reason. Their emotional outbursts and being strategic have been debatable among the housemates as well as the viewers.
Tanya Mittal
Tanya Mittal may also play a victim who has been criticized many times in the Bigg Boss house. She was challenged by another contestant, Nehal Chudasama, who alleged that Tanya was playing the victim card 100 times and termed her a manipulator and a calculative player. Singer Amaal Mallik also mentioned that Tanya was using the Maa card, which implied that she was using pity to work to her own advantage, instead of being upset. Tears and breakdowns of Tanya remain the topic of debate among both netizens and housemates, whether they are real or a part of a game strategy.
Neelam Giri
This reaction to a comment by Awez Darbar on her helpfulness by Neelam Giri was severely criticized. The comment resulted in an argument, whereby Neelam said she would not cook in the house because she felt that she was a victim. As part of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan, as the host, dealt with the matter, giving Neelam a reality check and reminding her that no one in the house thought she represented a real threat. The social media users strongly condemned Neelam, claiming that she exaggerated the circumstances to achieve sympathy.
Malti Chahar
Malti Chahar, the wildcard entrant, is not an exception, as she has also been accused of manipulating the emotions to her favor. Following one of the crying incidents, Tanya and Nehal allegedly named her a red flag and emphasized their suspicion toward her intentions. Another episode is quite controversial, when Malti provokes by saying that she kissed the photo of Amaal and redirected the focus on herself. Actions of Malti are viewed by fans and housemates as an attempt to manipulate the situation and get sympathy, but not share her feelings.
