Governor Anandiben Patel to Unveil Gaurav Chopra’s ‘Lakeerein’ Trailer, Details Inside

Gaurav Chopra is presently in the news and limelight for all the right reasons. Be it good roles as an actor or multiple award honours for his recent projects, he’s been blessed with all of it. Projects like Rana Naidu, Bachchhan Paandey, Gadar 2 have made it a hat-trick of successful hits for Gaurav and now, the audience is left asking for more. Well, wait no longer as his next movie Lakeerein is set to release soon on November 3rd, 2023.

Yes, that’s true ladies and gentlemen. The movie will be releasing on 3rd November 2023 whereas the trailer will be launched at Lucknow Uttar Pradesh on 19th October. What makes the trailer release even more special is the fact that the Honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Mrs. Anandiben Patel will be herself launching the trailer. Regarding his upcoming movie, Gaurav shares,

“As an actor, you want to be a part of good and intense story-driven projects that need to be told and Lakeerein is exactly one of them. It is a movie that addresses the issue around marital rape and no wonder, it deserves to reach out to the society in large. While acting in itself gives you creative satisfaction, there are certain projects that make you feel proud of the association. This project is exactly one of them and I am glad I will be a part of a story that deserves to be told to the nation. I hope the film plays a significant role in shaping the traditional Indian mindset the right way and makes people realize the importance of consent. The fact that it is an important social movie is all the way more clear as the honourable Governor herself is launching the trailer and supporting our vision. I am thankful to her for her support and I hope my audience enjoys watching me in this.”

With a spree of successful projects behind him already, Gaurav has indeed set the bar really high as an actor and no wonder, the audience will be very excited for this one as well. After having played a superstar in Rana Naidu and a vintage army officer in Gadar 2, he’s all set to play a professor-poet in this movie. With his last few projects, he’s certainly set a new benchmark for versatility and no wonder, the audience is excited to see what he has to offer next after Gadar 2.
