Viral Video: After the emergence of a viral video showing a shocking car accident, Bengaluru has been the talk of the online town. The dashcam video unveils the death trap of the negligent travel habits, which usually go unnoticed until the fatal event happens.
The footage shows a kid who is at the sunroof of a moving car, and a night drive is going on. Suddenly, the vehicle hits a bump, and the kid’s head is slapped against the sunroof edge due to the impact. The child was visibly upset, although he was quickly withdrawn inside.
Though the child was not seriously hurt, questions regarding the misuse of the sunroof were raised. Doctors advise that sunroofs are there for breathing and seeing, however, not for standing or playing. The mishap is a perfect example of how things can escalate quickly from the perspective of humans, causing death.
A lot of parents were the first to be in the eye of the storm in the social media comments. Indeed, some thought about what will happen if kids get used to doing that in a moving vehicle? They could hardly have behaved. Road safety activists are now suggesting that the best way to achieve this is through the rigorous implementation of safety measures campaigns in schools and homes.
