From October 20 to October 26, several flagship smartphones featuring upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors, super-bright 2K displays, and large batteries are expected to be released. Here is all the information you need to know about Smartphones Launching This Week, from the iQOO 15 to the Redmi K90 Pro Max.

iQOO 15

The iQOO 15 is going to be launched in China on October 20, featuring the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip specifically for gaming. It is rumored to come with an 8K VC Dome Cooling System. Going on to the design, the phone is expected to boast a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 6000 nits peak brightness. The iQOO 15 potentially includes a 7,000mAh battery with wireless charging support, making it perfect for gaming and multitasking usage.

iQOO Neo 11

On October 20, the same day, the iQOO Neo 11 will add premium specifications without high costs. The device is likely to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, giving you up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The device will run Android 16, with the latest OriginOS 6, giving it a smooth, smart software experience. The Neo 11 could feature a BOE Q10+ OLED display that has a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, with added AR anti-reflection and anti-glare coating. It could also have a 7,500mAh battery, and will support 100W fast charging, giving you a lengthy experience without interruption.

Realme GT 8

On October 21, Realme will launch its flagship powerhouse, the Realme GT 8, in China. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will have 16GB of RAM alongside up to 1TB of storage. The 6.78-inch display will be a 2K flat with a 144Hz refresh rate, suited optimally for gamers and social media users. The Realme GT 8 will sport a trio rear camera setup of one 50MP main OIS sensor, one 50MP periscope lens, and one 8MP ultra-wide lens, while selfies will be handled on the 50MP front camera. Finally, the device will be powered by a 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging, offering power all in one distinct package.

Realme GT 8 Pro

The Realme GT 8 Pro is set to launch on October 21 and will be the most powerful GT-series smartphone from the brand. Using the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, it will also feature GT BOOST 3.0, which allows the phone to run demanding games such as BGMI alongside Genshin Impact at high frame rates. For imaging, Realme has partnered with Ricoh Imaging, and the GT 8 Pro will feature a periscope-type telephoto 200MP camera with image stabilization and two 50MP sensors, which will support 3x optical zoom and 12X lossless zoom. The smartphone will have a 7,000 mAh battery with a maximum fast charging speed of 120W via wired charging and 50W via wireless charging, giving it high performance and speed in a slim form factor.

Redmi K90 Pro Max

To wrap up the week’s new releases, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is all set to hit the market in China on October 23 and is expected to see an India launch with POCO branding soon thereafter. It’s going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and come packed with 12GB and 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It will have a mammoth 7,500mAh battery on board, along with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. Camera enthusiasts will also be pleased to know that it will house the flagship 50MP LYT950 OIS sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens.
